《乌龙小子》以海上丝绸之路为背景，以现代化高科技手段，用拟人化形式，讲述象征和平友谊的中国茶文化和茶文化历尽艰险传播到世界各地的不凡历程，通过一个个生动、诙谐、惊险的小故事，串联起一部意蕴深刻的现代版童话剧，让青少年在娱乐中认识中国传统茶文化的渊源和精髓。
2001年4月20日，为给《风流才子纪晓岚》播出造势，该剧制片方--广东巨星影业公司董事长邓建国先生还专门率该剧几位主要演员：赵亮、朱磊、丹江、宋晓娜、博弘、海波在保利大厦跟北京媒体朋友见面。 《风流才子纪晓岚》主要讲述乾隆皇帝与香妃的爱情故事，表现的是纪晓岚、弘历、和珅这几位中国野史上风云人物的青年岁月，这跟《铁齿铜牙》主要描写宫廷政治，表现中年之后的纪晓岚有很大的不同。该剧在情节设计和人物刻画上更注重戏剧性，注重娱乐效果，观众看起来会感轻松有趣。
